June 2008 - Been a while as we have been busy working with other companies & our FX division was swamped in 2007 creating FX for 5 feature films. We are currently in post production on Best of friends & can't wait to release it. More soon, OTS.

March 2007 - Gearing up again & Co-Producing with Darst Productions for the DEAD SHALL RISE. Matt & I did some location scouting in the town we will be shooting most of the movie in. Casting should be locked any day & we will be shooting late april 2007 through july 2007. Pictures to come!

Jan. 2007 - Here we Grow again!

Dec. 2006 - Hard to believe the holidays are here already & the years almost over. Wow what a year. Have been very busy in almost all branches of production. Finishing up OTS latest feature Best of friends & Producing along with Matt Darst his Zombie movie, not to mention FCFX is creating all of the SPfx, Make-up Fx & Pyrotechnics. Continuing to work on the movie up in Michigan. Again what a year. Happy holidays to all & see you next year! The crew of OTS!

Sept. 2006 - Sorry the updates taken a while. We've been busy & tired.
Production still running smooth in Michigan. We are also producing a Zombie feature here in Missouri for H&K Productions as well as creating all of the Special effects.
Oaktree is finishing up editing on "Best of friends" our 5th feature & gearing up for another OTS production Spring 2007. More coming soon!

July 2006 - Mike Strain Jr. is off to Michigan for the Movie - Second Day not to only create FX w/ Fantasy Creations. But Mike is going to be an additional Camera man for the HD movie being shot on Canon's Cine Alta camera. 3 of the top "Bollywood - Indian" Actors will be acting in the feature. Pictures coming soon.

June 2006 - Fantasy Creations FX - "OTS FX" division has completed 1 days work on the Movie- "The Sky has Fallen" in Clinton Missouri for Director Doug Roos.
FCFX ONLY applied the make-ups created by Nathan Shelton.

June 2006 - Oaktree Studios is shooting the final pick-up shots for their 5th feature relaese "Best of Friends" to be released this fall by Royal Oaks distibution.
Oaktree Studios FX division Fantasy Creations created an 8' tall prop tree that explodes as well as blew up a stack of cars for the forth coming Sci-fi channel movie Alien vs. Alien AKA The final frontier.

March 2006 - Oaktree Studios FX division Fantasy Creations was contacted to possibly work on History channel production motion picture (3/24).

March 2006 - Illegal Vile 21 Still being released & sold 5 years later?
After my Distribution contract expired in 2001(it was a three year contract and that was released for that time period). I've been seeing this around on the internet (Amazon, etc.) and it appears that it is still being released in the original video box design. I always hate it when video distribution companies fail to honor their contracts and keeps selling copies where ever they can without paying the filmmaker for his or her hard work, so here's another for the list.

Feb 2006 - Oaktree Studios is currently Co-Coordinating & Co-producing for the Movie Second Day out of Michigan. The production which is to run from Dec 2005- April 2006 will shoot some action & stunt scenes in Springfield in the spring. Other locations are to be Las Vegas, Miami Fl, New York & Michigan.

Feb 2006 - Oaktree Studios will be finishing up it's fifth feature production "Best of Friends" and will premier it in the fall of 2006.

Oaktree Studios will be producing a new Horror feature this fall for Darst productions (more to come!)
